The Expo, themed “Turn Words into Action; Turn Action into Results”, will encourage residents and businesses to learn more about energy awareness, energy efficiency and renewable energy; while reminding them that wise energy attitudes, behaviors and decisions ensure results. Partnering with the U.S. Department of Energy, the city is declaring October as Energy Awareness Month. The Federal Energy Management Program provides additional information on Energy Awareness Month 2011.
